Let me pose to you a question: if, in fact, human beings have souls then is an artificial general intelligence possible? I find this question fascinating because most people think that they have a soul, and most people believe that an artificial general intelligence can in fact be built. How are these two ideas compatible? Can souls be manufactured in a factory? Or is your soul detached from your creativity and inspiration and your intelligence?
